What are the rental time-frames?

You can rent a dress for either a 4-day term or a 9-day term.

Example:

Day 1 - Your dress arrives and you try it on
Day 2 - Find the perfect pair of shoes and accessories
Day 3 - Rock that dress at your event
Day 4 - Return your rental at to the nearest Canada Post location

Can I alter my garment?

Unfortunately, you cannot alter the dress. Feel free to use hemming strips or two sided tape to temporarily alter if that would work for you. 

What if I return my dress late?

A $25 fee will be charged to the credit card on file for each day the dress is not returned on time.

Dresses must be returned on or before the due date at a Canada Post location by 12:00pm. This ensures Status will receive the garment on time for the next customer to rent.

If you lose the return packaging, it is your responsibility to return the garment in a different way and incur all shipping costs.

What if I damage the garment?

Normal wear and tear on the garment is acceptable and the customer is not liable. Anything above normal wear and tear, the customer may be liable for a replacement fee.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we only ship in Canada.

What are your hours of business?

We are open for fittings by appointment only on Tuesdays between 9:30am-2:00pm

How long does the shipping process take?

Normal shipping times will apply at checkout. We recommend that you reserve the dress well in advanced to ensure it will not get rented by another customer at the same time as your special event.

How do I contact you if  I have any questions?

Customers can contact us vie email at info@statusdressrentals.com and we will get back to you within 24 hours of your original inquiry.

Is there a physical location to try dresses on?

Yes. We have a boutique located in Chatham-Kent. Please email us at info@statusdressrentals.com to book your appointment.

How long do appointments take?

Typically, a fitting session takes approximately 1/2 hour.

Can I buy a dress from the site?

At this time, we do not sell any of our dresses.

What if I receive my dress in the mail and it doesn't fit?

If you receive your dress and it does not fit, you have 24 hours to send the dress back. We require a notification within 12 hours letting us know that you will be sending it back.

What if I lose or damage the garment bag?

If you lose or damage the garment bag, it is your responsibility to mail back the dress in an alternative package.

Is there local pick-up and drop-off options?

Our local pick up hours are Fridays between 10:00am and 1:00pm.

Our Local drop off hours are Mondays between 10:00am and 1:00pm.
